Book Fair

Check out the Scholastic Book Fair during Spring Conferences! It will be held in the ISLA lobby. Purchase books for your child, gifts or as classroom gifts.

  • Thursday, March 12 from 12 - 8 pm
  • Friday, March 13 from 8 am - 2 pm

All purchases benefit our school.

We announced earlier this week that the raffle has been refreshed this year!  As of this moment, over a third of the tickets have been sold.  Get your tickets soon as they are going fast!  If you cannot pick you your tickets until Spring conferences, you can email Betsey Palmgren (betseypalmgren@gmail.com) and ask her to reserve any tickets you’ve already pre-sold.

We will be hosting a Fiesta table at conferences to sell and/or pick up any sold tickets.  We could use some help, if you’re able to help, sign up here.

If you missed the previous announcement - The Fiesta raffle has been refreshed this year with CASH prizes and raffle tickets will be sold prior to the event so everyone in the ISLA community can participate for a chance to win the CASH prize! $500 grand prize,$200 second prize and $50 third prize. Need not be present to win. This is a great way to invite your family and friends to participate in raising funds for the Language Ambassador program! Tickets are $20 each and a maximum of 200 will be sold.  We can only accept cash or check to purchase a ticket. Tickets will be available for purchase at Spring conferences and every day at school pick up from Betsey Palmgren. Any unsold tickets will be available the night of Fiesta.

Mark your calendars - we have two more workdays coming up - TOMORROW Saturday, March 7 & Thursday, March 19. The Fiesta Committee will be there to provide all directions, so no prior experience is necessary.  Also, it’s preferable that children do not attend the work day as we will not have anyone available to monitor their activities.

  • Location: Near ISLA - RSVP on the ISLA Families Facebook page or email us at fiesta@isla-academy.org to be provided the address.

Volunteer at Event

If you’d rather just volunteer the day of or at the actual event, we have many different ‘jobs’ to be done.  This includes things like setting up, running games, checking out and taking down. This year our setup and take down request is a little different. We are asking for one parent from each grade to sign up for a spot to help.

If you’re able to help, please sign up here.
