1. Space Adventures / Aventuras en el Espacio

July 23 - 27
Grades 1-5

Fly me to the moon!  Join us as we boldly go where no camper has gone before. You will be in for a fun-filled week of space exploration: campers will compete in rover races, explore the life of an astronaut, create space-inspired art, investigate constellations, and more. In addition to space science, we will also go on exhilarating sci-fi adventures.  To infinity and beyond, and may the force be with you!

2. MakerSpace Camp / Campamento Espacio Maker

July 30 - August 3
Grade 1-5

MakerSpace? What is MakerSpace anyway? Come and find out. Do you love to create things; are you a DIYer? Makerspace is the place to be! You will invent things that haven't been thought of in the past. You will also tinker with technology to figure out how it works. Are you crazy about Minecraft? In this camp, there will be time for everybody to play! We will use the engineering cycle to explore, create and have a lot of fun!

3. Wilderness Adventure/ Aventuras en la Naturaleza

August 6 - 10
Grades 1-5

Find out what it was like to be Lewis & Clark! You will learn orienting skills with an artesanal compass, making shelters with natural materials. Additionally, different age groups will identify poisonous and non-poisonous plants in our environment, learn basic first aid skills, collect and observe insects (butterflies, ants, centipedes, etc), grow bean and grass seeds, study wildflowers and make homemade tea with fresh herbs.

4. Amazing Animals / Animalisimo

August 6 - 10
Grade Entering K

Do you want to give your future kindergartener a great head start before their first day of Kindergarten en español? Animalísimo is the camp for you! We combine Spanish and engaging activities about animals to prepare campers for their routines in kindergarten. Campers will be able to get their hands dirty and explore different types of arts and crafts related to animals. We will jump from one habitat to another, learning important Spanish vocabulary for upcoming kindergarten units of inquiry. You may even hear your camper come home making bilingual animal noises! ¡Guau, guau!
