Hello! My name is Cecilia Nava, and it is a true pleasure to be part of the ISLA educational community. I was born in Venezuela, where I earned my degree in Advertising Graphic Design, a discipline that allows me to bring a creative and visual perspective to my work, while adapting to the different learning styles of my students. Since 2024, I have lived in Minnesota, which has become our home. My greatest passion is education and working with children. I strongly believe in continuous learning and in the importance of growing and renewing myself every day so I can provide my students with the best possible tools. In both my teaching practice and personal life, respect is a fundamental value. I am convinced that an environment built on mutual respect is key to helping every child feel safe, valued, and capable of reaching their full potential. On a personal level, I truly enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my family. I am the mother of two wonderful children, a 7-year-old and a 4-year-old, who are my greatest daily inspiration to continue making a positive impact both inside and outside the classroom.
