Bonyin King is a first-grade teacher at ISLA. She comes from Santiago Chile. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Education, birth through 3rd grade from Andres Bello University, she also had a second degree in Learning Disabilities from Finnis Terra University in Santiago- Chile as well. She worked for four years as a Kindergarten teacher in Santiago, until she decided to come to the United States to learn English and live with a host family as an Au Pair for a year in a half back in 2009. After that she worked at Hamline Church “Bilingual Child Care” & “Futura Adventures” and for the last six years, she has been a Kindergarten teacher at Clearview Elementary in Clearwater MN. She recently moved to the Twin Cities with her husband and Jerome, their chameleon. During her leisure times, Bonyin loves biking and spending time working out and learning more about health and exercise. Bonyin and her husband also enjoy traveling which accomplishes their main goal of being “Happy”.
