The passion was palpable last Friday as the 6th graders were welcomed by the rebel risk-taking team at Evine online shopping.Headed up and organized by one of our dedicated ISLA parents, Jenny Stockhaus,a HR Project Manager at Evine in Eden Prairie, the day was a fast-paced, behind the scenes experience of what it takes to make a company like this work. The day included a tour of studio X and videography, visual and sound editing, motion graphics, distribution broadcasting, quality assurance testing, and even an impromptu magic show. Evine went above and beyond to give students the freedom to explore, test products, operate professional cameras, communicate via headsets and operate hundreds of buttons on control room equipment to film their own broadcast. The students’ enthusiasm was best summed up by Sra. Devers, “We now have 37 students who would like to work at Evine when they grow up."
