Fiesta de la Primavera Parent Donations

¡Hola Parents!  It’s time to gear up for Fiesta!

We are looking for donations for our 11th Annual Fiesta de la Primavera auction, scheduled for Saturday April 14, at Plymouth Creek Center in Plymouth.

The Fiesta de la Primavera is a fun gathering for ISLA parents and staff to enjoy an evening filled with food, drink, music and fun.  Part of the evening includes a Live & Silent Auction.  We also host an Online Auction prior to the event, from March 20th-28th.

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year—last year we raised over $56,000 to help fund the cost of EIGHT!! Language Ambassadors and other PTO-sponsored programs/events.  For this Fiesta, we are looking to raise even more for the 2018-19 school year.

We are open to all types of donations, so be creative!  Donate items on your own or offer an item with other ISLA parents. Here are some ideas…

  • Tickets to a sporting event, concert or theater performance
  • A week or weekend at a vacation home, cabin or time-share
  • Gift certificates
  • Big ticket items (Wii, flat screen TV, camera, bicycle, iPod, tickets to next year’s Super Bowl to watch the Vikings (too soon?)
  • Host an adult dinner party (always a big hit!)
  • Sponsor a group fun event (men’s golf outing, pool party, backyard BBQ, mother/daughter tea, father/son camp-out, ladies night out, men’s night out, card night, pontoon party)
  • Donate a valuable service (handyman, babysitting, yard work, painting, massage, tax prep)
  • Share a talent (knitting, art, cooking or piano/violin/golf/swimming lessons)
  • Donate something from your business or employer or that of a friend or family

Thank you, fabulous ISLA parents, for your support!
