Great News! International Spanish Language Academy has partnered with PickUp Patrol once again to help better manage our dismissal process. A welcome letter from PickUp Patrol was recently sent to you. Please complete your child's default end of day plans so that teachers have that information on the first day of school. You can enter any changes in PickUp Patrol until 3:15 pm on school days. After that time, changes can only be made for emergency situations. Each grade level has an assigned color and all grades are allowed to wear black. Kids can wear these shirts instead of uniform shirts. We also have adult sizes available!
Please be sure to add in your student’s name & teacher. Doing this helps our volunteers get the order quickly to the correct student.

Each year at ISLA, the PTO helps coordinate room parent helpers for each classroom. The overall goal of a Room Parent is to be a point of contact for both parents and the teacher to help streamline communications & questions without adding to our teacher's plates– We help plan class parties and sometimes organize a signup genius or email thread to coordinate parent chaperones for field trips, help make copies or other helpful tasks to keep our teachers & LAs engaged with our students!! The PTO worked with RenFest this year to coordinate a fundraiser with the school!! For every ticket sold, you will have helped raise $5 (adults) / $4 (kids) for us to continue providing support for our kids & teachers in their classrooms and to throw more fun & FREE community events!!
So don’t miss your chance to attend RenFest this year– it runs weekends through September 29th + Festival Friday (Sept 27th 9am-7pm) Transport back in time, see unique & engaging performances, costumes & characters while you enjoy delicious food vendors– And don’t forget to grab a cup of Mead before you leave!!

Thank you so much to our AMAZING PTO Chair, Jenner Moretto for all of her work over the past few years to build the PTO to fit the new vision & needs as ISLA grew into a larger community, supporting more LAs, more teachers, more parents… More everything!! While we are so grateful to lean on Jenner for SO much support, we also must acknowledge that her youngest will be aging out of ISLA in the coming years. While we are SO lucky to have an absolutely overflowing PTO Board this year, we do know that a spot or two MAY be opening as we look into the NEXT years.
