Tanya received her Registered Nursing degree from the University of North Dakota. She first worked in a farming community as a Public Health Nurse before moving to the Twin Cities. She has also worked for many years in a local hospital in the Maternal Child areas. She feels privileged to have shared in so many births and to have experienced the joy of families adding new little ones. She will always have a love for babies! After her 3rd son was born, she decided to stay at home for a few years.Then, she got her license as a School Nurse and started working at ISLA. She loves working with all the kids, families and staff at ISLA, trying to foster a healthy environment for all. Outside of work, Tanya enjoys cooking and baking, calligraphy and hand-lettering, keeping active, and spending time with her husband and 3 boys.
