Anthony Carranza was born in Margarita, Venezuela. He graduated from the French High School / Colegio Francia in Caracas, Venezuela. He applied at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College and earned an International Business Management degree. He later pursued studies in New Media Journalism, earning a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Minnesota School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He has worked in a number of news outlets that includes CBS Local Minnesota, Minnesota Daily,, The Epoch Times, El Comercio de Quito, etc. Anthony has recently returned from France after teaching Business English for beginner, intermediate and advance levels for several language academies in Toulouse for four years. Anthony has a multifaceted background with skills ranging in IT, writing, teaching, blogging, languages, and more. He has also joined the ISLA community as a Teaching Assistant, TOEFL instructor, collaborating with the new launch of the ISLA site, and is part of the response to intervention (RTI) team. He is thrilled, excited and delighted to continue his contribution to the school.
